Mark Hilliard graduated from Saint Louis University in 2002, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. While at Saint Louis University, he also earned a minor in English, and received a variety of merit-based scholarships during all four years of his attendance.

Mark received his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2006. During law school, he as a member on the University of Dayton Law Review. As a staff writer, Mark's student comment, entitled The Evolution and Misinterpretation of the Establishment Clause: Is Teaching Intelligent Design in Public Schools a Governmental Endorsement of Religion Prohibited by the First Amendment?, was selected for publication. 32 U.Dayton.L.Rev 145. In addition to Law Review, Mark also served as a member of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, the Volunteer Student Lawyer Project, and the Voluntary Income Tax Assistance program (VITA)—an organization specializing in offering free tax advice to low income families.

Mark's practice with Yukevich Calfo & Cavanaugh focuses on representing and defending Fortune 500 companies in product liability, mass transit tort, and complex commercial litigation.
