Kathy E. Wallace graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She attended Tulane Law School where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2003. While in law school, Ms. Wallace participated in the Frederick Douglas Moot Court Competition and worked in the Tulane Juvenile Law Clinic where she represented clients in child dependency and delinquency matters. She also was an intern for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office and volunteered at a non-profit law firm specializing in affirmative habitability and other housing matters. Additionally, Ms. Wallace was an active participant in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, the Graduate and Professional Student Association and Black Law Students Association.

Ms. Wallace practices in the area of products and general liability defense. Prior to joining Yukevich Calfo & Cavanaugh in April 2008, she practiced in the areas of business, construction defect and general liability litigation and community interest development law. Her experience includes representing clients in multi-million dollar contract disputes, real estate disputes, fraud and malicious prosecution matters.

Ms. Wallace is a member of the Los Angeles Bar Association, Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
